Drew Giardina

Doctor of Physical Therapy / Athletic Trainer
Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy

Drew obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in August 2001 from Arizona School of Health Sciences. In addition to being a physical therapist, Drew is also a Licensed Athletic Trainer and is one of a select few therapists in the state of Arizona to be a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Prior to opening Total Sports Therapy, Drew worked at a therapy facility for several years that focused on orthopedic conditions with a high number of high school, collegiate and professional athletes. During that same time he was also the Head Athletic Trainer at St. Mary’s High School where he oversaw all aspects of injury care for the athletes of that school. Drew opened Total Sports Therapy’s first location in Cave Creek, AZ in 2006. The company quickly developed a reputation for quality physical therapy, with consistent outcomes, delivered in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Drew’s reputation with several of the valley’s top orthopedic surgeons, including team doctors for both the Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals has allowed him to open 2 more offices in the valley in less than 5 years. In wanting to have community ties, Total Sports Therapy annually sponsors several youth sports teams. In addition, Total Sports Therapy is the official provider of rehab and performance for 2 local high schools, Sandra Day O’Connor High School and Cactus Shadows High School. In addition to sports related and post-surgical injuries, Drew also treats neck and low back pain, worker’s compensation and personal injury, joint sprains and generalized weakness.
