Joe Gazo has over 16 years experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Joe is local to the valley and graduated from Horizon High School. Graduating with a BS in Exercise Science from Arizona State University in 1997, he went abroad to the Netherlands to receive a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy in 2000 from Fonty’s University of Professional Education. Joe then moved to the Bay Area, working first hand with world renowned track coaches, along with Olympic, collegiate and professional athletes alike. Joe also gained experience in the Frappier Acceleration Sports Training Program. In 2003, Joe moved back to the Valley and in 2006, was promoted to Clinic Director and received recognition at the 2007 national Stryker convention in Orlando, Florida. Joe went on to receive advanced training, completing a 2 ½ year Paris manual therapy residency program through the University of St. Augustine. While in the valley, Joe participated in annual spring orthopedic physicals for the Milwaukee Brewers, Athletic A’s and Anaheim Angels. In 2008, Joe became the Director of Outreach Operations for the Paradise Valley Unified School District. It was there he oversaw ATC outreach programs for all 5 high schools in the PVUSD. In 2008, he developed and implemented an ATC outreach pilot program for Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) which continues to this day. Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 boys, cycling, snowboarding, surfing and traveling.
