Richelle is the director of our Moon Valley/Phoenix Location. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and came to Arizona in 1997 to attend the University of Arizona. She returned to Arizona after completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and lives in Moon Valley.
Education
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Arizona then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2004.
Career
Prior to working with Total Sports Therapy, Richelle has worked primarily in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Professional Achievements
Richelle's clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of treatments for sports and work-related injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. Her hands on approach puts an emphasis on manual therapy to the spine, shoulder, pelvic girdle, and extremities. She incorporates joint and soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, and muscle energy techniques, in addition to functional strengthening and alignment exercises to achieve a more balanced body and pain reduction.
